About me
My Name is Tylar Thomas, and my pronouns are she/her/hers. When I first picked up a camera, I had no idea of the adventures I would go on. Almost 10 years after picking up a camera, I started TCTPhotography. To be exact December 2020 I took the risk, quit my job, and started my photography business. Since then it has changed my life for the better.
I’m a BGSU Alumni located in Bowling Green, Ohio. Although I am based in Ohio, I travel all over the country. I have a bucket list of locations I dream of completing.
If you look inside my logo, you will see a lily. It’s in honor of my late mother. she was my best friend and the inspiration behind my decision to start a business. she’s the reason I am the kind of woman I am today.
When people ask me “why photography?” my answer is always simple, “I love storytelling” to me it’s not just picking up a camera and taking a picture. it’s about putting together a story that captures those memorable moments. the one where you are looking back and smiling years from now. The moments where you are instantly taken back to that moment and remember that feeling you felt in those moments. I’m not a photographer, I’m a storyteller and that is what I want my business to be all about. They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
